My Mom

This is my mom, she was very young at the time, I love her outfit, the little purse. What a lady. And she wears exactly the sort of clothing that I use in my illustrations all the time. Great!

Kaartje

Tonight I found this card. It's very similar in structure and colours as the card that I up-loaded this morning. The other one came all the way from Indonesia though, and this one came from a just few streets away.

Kaartjes

Twee toegangskaartjes tot een watertempel op het eiland Lombok. Ik hou van de soort papier, goedkoop, ruw en met veel structuur. Ook de kleuren zijn kleuren die ik zo in een illustratie zou kunnen gebruiken. Het grappige is; het zijn twee kaartjes voor twee mensen. (orang betekend mens in Bahasa Indonesia). En de kaartjes geven toegang aan hetzelfde complex. Maar de een kost 3000 rupiah, en de andere 5000. Dat is omdat het ene kaartje voor een buitenlander is. (5000) en de andere voor een Indonesiër.
Wel logisch want buitenlanders hebben veel meer geld. Maar ook wel een beetje gek.
