Nieuwe Kaarten!

Kretek Cigarettes

An empty box of kretek-cigarettes from Indonesia. Oh how I love the simplicity of the design. And how I love the smell of kretek-cigarettes... and how I love the food of Indonesia, and the people of Indonesia, and traveling with too many people in a fast car while listening to Indonesian-pop music.

Oh how I miss that country.

Blackberries

I've picked tons of blackberries and turned them into jam. This is something my granddad (Opa in dutch) used to do as well. He gave all his children and grandchildren the delicious jam he made himself. And that was quite something since he had 9 children and over 20 grandchildren. I hope my cousins and aunts and uncles don't expect the same from me cause my arms are full of scratches and Im a little fed up with pushing those berries down the sieve. But also love doing it! The little cottontops are my influence...

Woohoo Mail!

Picture by the famous dutch photographer Ed van der Elsken He lived in Amsterdam too, and I think he also liked horses!
